Carefully apply a small amount of lotion evenly over each rod and repeat until the rod is fully saturated. The processing time for normal to slightly porous hair is 15–20 minutes without heat or 10–15 minutes with heat; for hair with less than 30% highlights, 15 minutes without heat or 5–10 minutes with heat is sufficient.
